Liberte? Fraternite? Egalite?
dipping into the archives today with another shot from our trip to paris last summer. these guys were protesting outside of palais de justice and since i don't speak a lick of french i had nothing to do but snap photos while jen chatted with the one guy about their various grievances. there were a bunch, but the one that i find the most interesting (and to be perfectly truthful; the only one i actually remember) is that apparently to protest in france you need a permit. wtf?! that blows my mind. anyway, he told jen that he just hopes that even if people aren't political that they'll have a political conscience. good advice bud.
keep on keepin' on, french protester guys!
thanks for all the comments on yesterday's photo. i should clarify that i wasn't trying to be snarky with her. what she really meant to ask was if i used the camera professionally to which i replied that it was just a hobby and i take photos of whatever catches my eye.
ps. what's up with pixelpost not allowing characters with accents or html chars in the image title?
