waterloo falls
despite the suffocating humidity that's rolled into south western ontario i was still pretty motivated to get out there to sweat, get eaten by bugs, and hopefully take some photos. however, dinner took longer than i expected so by the time i was ready to get out there the sun was setting.
what we have here is an hdr shot taken with a tripod (gasp) and a remote release (double gasp) cause my usual renegade hdr style wasn't gonna cut it with such limited light. i wasn't sure how the falling water would look with the different shutter speeds, but i don't think the water looks much different than it would with a single exposure.
this has been a tremendously geeky post so i apologise to everyone that bothers to read these posts and doesn't know what this mumbo jumbo means.
update: i've created a tutorial that outlines the workflow of this image. just click the tutorials button up top for it and others.
